A Day in Qingdao

The salty breeze of the Yellow Sea paints the rhythm of my day in Qingdao. Seafood stalls are the starting point of every taste bud, but the most precious flavor is not the rarest catch. Beside the warmth of the sea breeze is more crucial than any delicacy.

A day should be complete, never let the footsteps be hurried. From the morning porridge with pickles at a street corner, to the crispy fried squid at a pier stall, and the sweet osmanthus cake at a hidden alley—we should not miss any bite. To savor and wander. Don’t just follow the food lists of others, I know I need to taste by my own heart. Walking slowly and trying to be a curious traveler.

Be present rather than be perfect.
